Our Mission: Empowered by the Holy Spirit Kailua Christian Church strives to be a loving and nurturing family of faith committed to a growing relationship with God, one another, and the world through teaching, service and witness as embodied by Jesus Christ.
Kailua Christian Church currently hosts three main outreach ministries:
- We offer Na Anela, a bi-monthly Health & Wellness Educational Program. This program was borne from a cancer support group in the early 2000s that continues to meet and provide educational care for the community.
- We offer a Volunteer Chaplaincy Team in coordination with our partners at The Institute for Human Services (IHS), Hawaii’s largest and oldest homeless services center. We engage with the least of these brothers and sisters (Mt 25:40) because Jesus calls us to uplift the captive and poor in spirit, and we have a longstanding history of support to IHS.
- We offer a Pastoral Development Service Learning Program for Bible, Theology, and Divinity students aged 20-25. KCC has a long history of nurturing young people into the calling that God has for them, including financially and spiritually supporting at least 10 pastors through their seminary experiences. This is a legacy of our church that we continue until today.
Kailua Christian Church currently hosts three main community nurture ministries:
- King’s Company: We provide a structured, consistent, and loving program for keiki aged 4-9 on Sunday mornings during worship.
- Kupuna Bible Study: We provide a Bible Study for our kupuna and others who wish to join us at the Plaza Kaneohe on Thursday mornings.
- Pā’ina Night: CURRENTLY PAUSED. We provide a Thursday evening meal service dedicated to small group spiritual development.
